In 01/01/1947 – Area code 215 was placed into service. In 1994 area code 215 was divided to create area code 610. On 1999 area code 215 overlaps with area code 267.

In 01/01/1947 – Area code 412 was assigned into service. In 1988 area code 412 was divided to form area code 724. 2001 area code 412 overlaps with area code 878.

In 01/01/1947 – Area code 717 was set into service. In 1998 area code 717 was divided to create area code 570.
